The SPIC conference is held every two years and brings together the academic and industrial communities working on π-conjugated molecules and materials. It spans the full value chain—from design and modelling, synthesis, structural and physico-chemical characterisation, through to applications in nanoscience, organic optoelectronics, and energy storage and conversion. Its aim is to foster exchange, stimulate collaborations, and highlight the latest advances in the field.
SPIC 2026 will be the 6th edition, created from the merger of MNPC (Materials and Nanostructures of π-Conjugates), JPC (Conducting Polymers Days), and DIELOR (Organic Electronics Devices). It follows previous editions: Angers 2015, Limoges 2017, Arras 2019, Saint-Malo 2022, and Paris 2024–2025.
This edition is organised by the STELORG consortium, comprising around fifteen members from the laboratories ICUBE, IPCMS, ICS, ICPEES, and IS2M.
